Port Regulations
Port allows (3) three free days storage once the vessel arrives in Durban thereafter, storage per day will vary as per dimensions of vehicles. R1 250.00 for a Sedan, SUV to R3 950.00 on Commercial Units.
Documents Must Be Couriered to Reach Our Offices 3 x Working Days Before The Arrival Of The Vessel In Durban, Else Late Clearance Penalty Of R950.00 Per Unit Will Apply and Port Storage Per Day!!

Insurance and Coverage
Vehicle is covered on the marine policy from Japan to Durban. Whilst under our care, vehicle is covered by our GIT policy.
Important Note: If the vehicles contain any goods, cargo, spares, personal / household effects, etc. must be declared to avoid confiscation and fines.
On receiving the vehicle at Durban port we carry out a comprehensive inspection, this report will be handed over with the vehicle.
By law all imported vehicle in transit to neighboring countries must be moved immediately through to the border of exit by car carrier. Vehicles found stored, repaired or loitering in South Africa will be impounded by customs and Excise, with fines and penalties imposed.
