Entered into capital and business alliance with Toyota Tsusho Corporation to collaborate on online export sales of used cars

Carpaydiem Co.,Ltd, headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo and Nobuaki Chatani as President and CEO tied up with Toyota Tsusho Corporation, headquartered in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya and Ichiro Kashitani as president and director in equity capital to collaborate on online export sales of used cars.

In emerging countries mostly in Africa, the demand for used cars has increased along with economic development, and the used car market is expanding year by year. Japanese cars have gained strong popularity in the overseas used car market due to their high reliability in quality, and the cars used in Japan have received a high evaluation because they are well maintained and in good condition. Over 1 million used cars are exported from Japan each year.

Utilizing the know-how that the Company has cultivated through online sales of used cars and Toyota Tsusho's overseas network including after-purchase servicing in their automobile business, a reliable online export sales of used cars for the overseas market is aimed, especially in African countries where demand is expected to grow further.
