VANGUARD, a Luxury Crossover SUV made by TOYOTA
The luxury crossover SUV, VANGUARD, was very popular all over the world from its launch on August 30, 2007 to the end of sales in November 2013. It had a large body with a sense of stability, and three rows of seats with 7 passenger seating and three rows of seats with 5 passengers were available. There were two types of engines: V6 3.5L engine (280 horsepower) and an in-line 4-cylinder 2.4L engine (170 horsepower). Grade variations were "350S" and "240S", and "G package" was available for each type.
Since its launch in 2007, TOYOTA VANGUARD has undergone one minor change and some improvements such as the addition of grades and new colors. The new slogan at that time was "TOUGH & GENTLE 7 SEATER". Let's take a closer look at what the changes were.
Partially improved.
The interior color has been added to the existing grade (dark gray), and active headrests (driver's seat and passenger seat) have been standard equipment. New body colors have been added, including new dark violet, mica metallic, gray metallic, and beige metallic.
Due to minor changes, it exceeded Japan's exhaust emissions regulations for 2010. Also, it succeeded to meet a wide range of user needs by setting eight body colors, including new colors of Blackish Red Mica, Dark Steel Mica, and Dark Green Mica.
By changing the design of the interior and exterior of all cars and enhancing the equipment, it can create a more powerful or smoother driving experience.
The specially equipped car "240S S Package ALCANTARA Limited" was released. It had the shift knob decorated with black wood grain, a genuine leather steering wheel and Alcantara seat center console box.
The production of Vanguard was finished on November 2013.
