Mitsubishi Canter Overview
The fifth-generation Canter introduced significant upgrades in engine performance, safety, comfort, and fuel efficiency. Vehicle lengths ranged from 4.5m to 6.0m, with payload capacities between 2.5 and 4.5 tons.
Initially equipped with a 2.4L gasoline or 3.0L diesel engine, later models featured 3.3L and 3.9L diesel options. Transmission choices included a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. A sleeker, more aerodynamic design improved efficiency, while a redesigned cabin with a center console enhanced comfort and usability.
Standard safety features included ABS, a driver’s airbag, and power steering. Widely used in logistics, construction, and agriculture, the Canter also introduced eco-friendly models, including EV and hybrid options. These advancements reinforced its reputation as a reliable and versatile commercial vehicle.
