Toyota Toyoace with Small body size and Comfortable ride

Toyota Toyoace is one of the most popular work trucks, and it has 7 generations in total. The 5th generation Toyoace was produced based on the design of the Toyota Dyna. The Toyoace was made for lighter duty and smaller payloads, so it came equipped with a smaller engine than the Dyna of the same year. The smaller Hiace and Toyoace models were integrated, and the 5th generation of Toyoace had three models. And It became a mini-truck that could meet the needs of various sizes.

1985

The 5th generation Toyota Toyoace was sold. In addition to the G15, which was a 1.5-ton product until the fourth generation, the new grades, G25 and G35 were added.

1987

The headlights were changed from four round lights to four square lights.

Minor change. The door glass was changed from two pieces to one piece.

1989

Both 2t and 3 cabs were equipped with 4WD.

1991

The bumper and corner vanes that keep mud off the steps and door hems became the same color as the body.

Engine

The 14B engine is an updated version of the 4B engine. The ordinal engine, 4B, is also one of Toyota's swirl chamber diesel engines. About 50% of the air flowing through the engine system enters through these cavities during the compression stroke of the engine. This creates a swirl of air. After combustion, the products come back to the engine at a much higher velocity. With this engine, speed becomes increased band and reduce the heat of the engine. This system is called Swirl chamber diesel design.

Grade & Equipment

Body type

Toyoace has two body types: flat body and dump body.
With Dump body, the bed of the Toyoace can be angled upward to dump materials onto a job site or delivery location. This hydraulic arm pushes the front end of the truck bed upward. And, any materials stored in the bed will easily slide out of the back of the truck as long as the lift gate is dropped down.

Loading capacity

The Toyoace also acquired 2, 2.75, 3, and 3.5 ton models. For the 2t truck, the front and rear wheels were both equipped with small-diameter radial tires. A new full-just-low model with a lowered floor height and improved ease of entry and exit was available.

Exterior & Interior

About G25 Dump, there were three body colors : White, Green and Blue.
The Toyoace provided drivers with a roomy cabin. Later versions came with wireless door locks. The Toyoace also had an adjustable driver seat. The interior features that Toyota has added to the Toyoace over the years made for one of the highest levels of comfort available in a business truck.
