Car Inspection in Pakistan
All Pakistanis can import new cars. However, the import of used cars in Pakistan is granted only to Pakistani nationals living outside the country under a “special regime”.
The special regime permits importation on 3 factors: transfer of residence, a gift or a personal baggage. Additionally, the import of a used car under the special regime is permitted only every 2 years.

- Bill of Lading (BOL)
- Pakistan origin card or attested passport photocopy
- Driver’s license
- Acknowledged copy of declaration provided to the customs upon the applicant’s arrival
