2001-2004 Nissan Caravan

This period of time was marked by many options. There was the KG-VWE25 (Diesel, FR), KG-VWME25 (Diesel, 4WD), LC-CQGE25 (Gasoline, FR), KG-CWMGE25 (Diesel, FR), LC-VPE25 (Diesel, 4WD), LC-VPE25 (Gasoline, FR/WD). These came with three different displacements: 1998, 2953, and 2488.  
Within this time period, the front grille underwent a remodel. There was also an optional grade to have your back door close automatically.

Within these two years, there were two model codes: KR-VWME25 and KR-CWMGE25. These models have similar stats with a diesel engine, 4WD, and 2953 displacement.
In 2004, Nissan made improvements to the seat covers. Plus, the engine was improved. There were also design changes to the front seats.

2007 Nissan Caravan

In 2007, there were a couple of changes. Nissan introduced a 2,488cc gasoline engine, which led to better fuel efficiency and higher speed. The transmission was now a 5-speed automatic, which also improved fuel efficiency.
This model sat up to 12 people. There was a diesel engine with FR and a 2953 displacement.
The model of this year was KR-VWE25. 

2009 Nissan Caravan

The model for this year was CBF-VRE25. This model was gasoline with FR and 1998 displacement.
In this generation, there are two different body styles: 3-door or 4-door van. Other changes were that the exterior was modified, and color bumpers were introduced. There were updates to the transmission, which led to better fuel efficiency.
In 2010, there was an improvement in the loading capacity. So, for example, people could have filled the first two rows of seating and still had room for 30.3 cm of plywood. The 2010 was also when they were certified by the 2015 Fuel Consumption Standards and the required taxes were lowered.
