1st Generation Fighter
Feb. 1984
First generation Fighter was released. It was a model in which the exterior design was integrated with the small size Fuso Canter and the large size The Great to unify the image of truck Fuso. Headlights, left and right doors, bed panel, and cab rear window were common with The Great.
Dec. 1987
Minor change. The panel molding was equipped in the upper part of the radiator grille, and 230 horsepower engine with intercooler was added.
Feb. 1988
There was a minor change with the FM series. 4WD truck FL was added.
Feb. 1990
Minor change. Radiator grille design was changed.
Jul. 1991
Minor change. 210 horsepower truck with natural aspiration engine was released. In addition to the standard equipment cornering lamps, ABS was optional for the FK series. The TV commercial catch phrase at this time was “Fuso Fighter is better than anyone for the roads in Japan.”
