The second-row seats of the three-row Pajero were changed to separate type.

2nd generation of Mitsubishi Pajero has this 3.0-liter engine in a SOHC version with both 12 and 24 valves. Also, it has a DOHC variety. And this model was also available in 12 and 24 valves.6G72 and 6G74 are one of the 6G engine models.6G74 engine is the most powerful engine in Pajero series. The 6G74 also was available in the Mitsubishi Evolution with the MIVEC technology.

Grade

J top

J top was manufactured by taking over the soft top that was popular in the first generation model. Exclusive 18-inch wheels, one of the largest among Japanese cars, came as standard equipment. It is a three-door short.

Mid-roof

A long version was introduced for passenger comfort and ease of getting in and out of the car, but this was only available with a high roof. Therefore, a mid-roof wagon with a lowered roof was added to the lineup. It has a 5-door long body and is available with a 4-speed AT or 5-speed manual.

Kick-up roof

The second half of the roof is a high roof. It is available with a 4-speed AT or 5-speed manual.

Metal top

It was a model that underwent frequent minor changes in the second generation.
In 1993, it was installed 6G74 engine and 4M40 engines and these cars were called Metal top wide.
Then, as a special edition, the Metal top wide ZR and White Pajero was sold.
With the minor changes in 1997,It has two models, Greenfield and Super Greenfield for leisure.
